Lettice'di'mani smiles at you, then lets out a long sigh.

"I love my father very much," she says, bobbing her head back towards him as you walk forward, "but I would much rather spend time with C'bana closer to my age. Juniper is always hillarious to be around, anyways. Ahh... here they are."

A pony-sized, colorful stallion adorned with many bands and other jewelry, is followed closely by a much smaller, winged blue mare. The mare catches you watching her and beams with pleasure, zipping over to you with a small squeal. The stallion trots merrily after his mate, catching her on his back just as her tiny little wings give out.

"This," Lettice'di says with a small grin, "Is Skylar and Skittles, the honorary Desert Treaty pair."

"That's right!" Skylar says, beaming with pride.

Skittles laughs, "Yes, well, it used to be that the Northern and Desert Tribes shunned and despised one another.. but no longer!"

"With our marriage," Skylar continues, "A treaty was signed between the Herd of Morning Mists and the Tribe of Desert Dreams.... oh, isn't it romantic?" she sighs dreamily and snuggles into her mate's multicolored mane.

He chuckles, "Well, if you say so!"

A bell-like laugh rings out behind them, followed by some jingling. Skittles turns and perks his ears, as one last C'bana joins you. A small, bird-like creature zips around her, chirping out randomly. She also holds a staff that looks very much like a loli-pop.

"Juniper!" Skylar says, fluttering up to the larger mare, "It was very romantic."

Juniper shrugs, grinning, "Aw, Mom, I'm sure it was... but do you have to tell every visitor?!"

Skylar sniffles, landing at her daughter's feet, and coming only to her knee. Juniper must have almost killed her mother!

"Well... you tell every traveler about the Festival of Awesomeness!"

"Good point," says Letti, grinning a bit.

Juniper's mouth twists to one side of her mouth, and she looks over at her father, almost pleadingly. He only laughs.

"Er... well... it's my JOB to tell them that the Festival of Awesomeness is the coolest thing ever since the Herd was formed in 1996...ish."

"I guess that's true," Skylar says, shrugging.

"Well," Juniper says, "I run the Festival of Awesomeness Somewhere between the end of summer and the beginning of fall. I LOVE parties, and the Festival is a place where C'bana come from all over to find mates, and for their humans to find new C'bana who would like to leave the realm. It is held at the Orchard.
